Running shoe from 1989, designed by Jacques Chassaing and Markus Thaler. The first shoe with Torsion: a TPU bar under the midfoot that lets heel and forefoot work independently. Adidas still builds the system into its shoes today.

Meant for long runs. From 1989 it mostly got worn somewhere else — Manchester acid house nights, because you could stand in them for hours.

Mesh with suede overlays, dark blue on the stripes and heel.
