Founded in 2008 in Perth by childhood friends Garth Mariano and Matt Evans. Both quit their office jobs, studied graphic design and printed the first batch of tees themselves – partly because the Australian skate brands they grew up on had disappeared one after another. Music runs through everything since: hip hop, jazz and the records the samples come from. Collaborations with Madlib or Daniel Johnston are, accordingly, not a marketing move. On the side the two run the Lo-Fi store in Perth and the Cash Only distribution.
