New Balance has made shoes in Boston since 1906 and started out producing arch supports – hence the name. Numeric is the skateboarding line, running since the 2010s. It takes classic NB models and rebuilds them for skating: thicker suede, vulc or cup soles, more cushioning under the heel. Andrew Reynolds, Tom Knox and Tiago Lemos have their signature models here.
