With AW26, Village PM puts a new model next to the familiar ones: the 2PM. On top of that come new colours for the existing shoes, a few returns and the move into the US. Four pairs from the season are coming to us.
The 2PM
The reason is the 1PM. For a brand that has only been around since March 2025, word about it got out unusually fast – in its third season it ranked 9th in Lyst's Hottest Products Index. Now it gets a second shoe by its side.
Two principles stay untouched. First, the 2PM is meant to break in fast and still last. That sounds obvious, but it isn't: soft material feels good after two sessions and is worn through soon after, tough material lasts but takes its time. Usually you get one at the expense of the other. Second, soft, sticky rubber wrapped around a precise, asymmetrical fit. At Village PM, that decides how the shoe works, and just as much how it looks.
The shoe around it is a different one, though. More structured, more defined in shape, closer to the ground. The toe cap is angled, a rubber cover sits over the laces, and there's a heel counter at the back. Add heel loops for slipping in, a drop-in EVA midsole and a rubber outsole.
We're getting the 2PM in White / Lime. 130 €, US 8 to US 13.
New colours and a few returns
The existing models get new colours: Lime on the 1PM, Green on the 1PM Mid, Olive on the 1.30PM. And colours people kept asking for are back – the 1PM in Chocolate and Black, and the 1.30PM in Black / White.
Coming to us:
- 1PM Lime LTR – suede and canvas, 120 €
- 1PM Black – suede, 120 €
- 1.30PM Black & White – canvas, 95 €
All three in US 8 to US 13.
Village PM in the US
Besides the 2PM, AW26 is also the season Village PM enters the United States. The place skateboarding comes from – a step the brand has been talking about for a long time. Over there it's sold through selected stores across the country, skate shops as well as fashion stores. So exactly the two places where the people who wear Village PM found it.
If you don't want to wait over there: we've always carried Village PM, and we ship worldwide. Including the US.
Where Village PM comes from
Skateboarding has reinvented itself again and again, driven by creativity, independence and the will to move forward. The shoes stopped keeping up at some point. Since big sports corporations started running the market, it's mostly old archive silhouettes in new runs. By now a lot of skaters treat their skate shoes like sports equipment: on for skating, off again right after.
That's where Basile Lapray and Bram De Cleen come in, both skaters themselves. In March 2025 they launch Village PM. The idea: try something new with skate shoes again, and keep the decisions out of boardrooms and with the people who actually skate.
Lapray comes from the outdoor industry. For around ten years he developed high-performance footwear for outdoor brands, starting at Salomon. Then he quits and builds the first Village PM prototypes, in his former employer's in-house workshop. That becomes the 1PM: fit, abrasion protection and other details from climbing shoes, carried over to skateboarding.
The brand is introduced in March 2025 in Paris, at The Broken Arm. Since then Village PM has made its way into skate and fashion stores across Europe, Japan and Canada. With AW26, the US joins them.
