Running shoe from 1989, designed by Jacques Chassaing and Markus Thaler. The first shoe with Torsion: a TPU bar under the midfoot that lets heel and forefoot work independently. The system is still in Adidas shoes today.
It was meant for long runs. From 1989 on it was mostly worn elsewhere — at acid house parties in Manchester, because you could stand in it for hours.
