Beyond meets Nike SB – as a Dunk Hi and a nod to Alvar Aalto, the Finnish modernist who invented the free-form pool.

The minimalist white sneaker translates Aalto's architectural language straight into the materials: pig suede toebox, nubuck eyestay and quarter panel – all in Natural White.

The birch-coloured Swoosh in embossed suede nods to his iconic furniture designs, while the outsole in deep brick red picks up the brick façades of his buildings.

And the heel panel in blue patent leather? A reference to the glazed ceramic tiles running through Aalto's most famous buildings.
