Village PM is the Paris shoe brand by Basile Lapray and Bram De Cleen, launched in March 2025 with a video premiere at The Broken Arm. Lapray developed outdoor footwear before that, starting out at Salomon; he built the first prototypes in his former employer's workshop in the French Alps. The thinking behind it: skate shoes were stuck in reissued archive silhouettes, and the decisions should sit with people who actually skate.

The construction is unusual – instead of a vulc or cup sole they use their own rubber build that wraps the foot asymmetrically, plus their own last, a very soft compound and a hand-applied rubber rand taken from climbing shoes. That is where the references come from, but it is meant seriously as a skate shoe.
