Rassvet – written Paccbet, Russian for "sunrise" – was founded by Tolia Titaev and fashion designer Gosha Rubchinskiy in Moscow. It was one of the first brands to make Russian skateboarding visible from the outside: Cyrillic, panel-block architecture, fashion and skating in one. For years the outside view was exoticising – Rassvet turned it around.
