Bronson Speed Co. was started in 2013 by NHS in Santa Cruz – the house built by Richard Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman, which also runs Santa Cruz Skateboards, Independent, OJ and Mob. The stated aim was immodest: take on Bones Bearings. The approach is bigger balls, less friction, and bearings you don't have to keep opening up and servicing.
